Hello! I’m Kiernan.
I'm a writer and content creator living and working in the Kansas City metro area. Writing has been—and always will be—one of the greatest loves of my life.
I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2010 with a B.S. in Journalism. It was during my time at KU that I learned to write objectively, to think critically, to ask the right questions, and to "trim the fat" when needed.
After college, I plunged into the little-known world of Catholic high school recruitment. That is, recruiting 8th graders to attend high school. (It’s a thing.) While there, I whet my whistle as a digital marketing creative, maintaining the school's website, social media accounts and emails, writing copy for recruitment materials and publishing a quarterly alumni newsletter.
I’ve since worked for an in-house marketing team, as a marketing coordinator and ghost-writer for clients in a wide variety of industries (including pizza and electrical engineering, just to name a couple), and as the sole voice of a global fashion retailer.
My journalistic foundation coupled with my natural creative talents and unique voice allow me to bring almost any concept to life. It's one of the most exciting— and motivating— aspects of working in the marketing & advertising worlds.
